A great purchase for any fan of Starblazer Adventures

Mindjammer is half campaign setting, half linked scenarios that make up a campaign. Mindjammer's setting has a heavy transhumanist flavor that is much different from the space-opera roots of Starblazer Adventures. There are no computers, but instead a shared "mindspace" from which beings can draw knowledge.
Even if you aren't into the transhumanist elements, there is plenty to recommend Mindjammer. New equipment, new skills, and a nicely detailed setting that's ready for use. The only criticism I have is that I would have rather seen the adventures packaged into a different volume -- I'm just not a big fan of sourcebooks sharing space with scenarios.
If you're a fan of Starblazer Adventures, Mindjammer is an excellent companion volume.
